This may seem daunting, there’s a lot to take and it’s a long way to transport your much loved items. However, there are companies out there who specialise in making the whole process as easy as possible.
I’ve personally used Peter Morton Removals, to transport some belongings from Cyprus to the UK. How do I get my furniture and belongings to Cyprus?
We can offer a door to door service for all household effects and personal effects that you wish to take to Cyprus. We have several options to choose from whether you would like us to pack everything for you or if you would prefer to pack the smaller items yourselves.
What’s involved?
We usually arrange a survey first. This is for the volume of goods to be assessed. This can be completed in person or online via FaceTime / WhatsApp Video.
How long does it take?
A sole use container shipment takes approximately 3-4 weeks door to door. A shared consignment usually 4-5 weeks door to door.
Can I store my furniture when it arrives?
When your goods arrive in Cyprus, we have a state of the art storage facility where your goods can be stored safely until you are ready for delivery. If you would like some goods delivered straight away and the remainder of goods stored, that is also not a problem.
Is there a way to get my car over to Cyprus?
For car shipments to Cyprus there are two options. One is for your car to be shipped in the container along with your household effects (your car can also be filled with goods to save space) or the other option is roll on roll off from Southampton to Limassol port. The car would need to be empty.
For car imports you would need to attend customs with us to sign an authorisation. You would need your passport and original V5. We also offer a full registration package for car imports.
